Insurance and reinsurance education and research provider The Institutes has announced the formation of a strategic partnership with the International Insurance Society (IIS), a global forum for re/insurance industry stakeholders.
The affiliation will benefit both parties, as it will allow The Institutes to more broadly distribute its designations, certifications, and courses, and will create a more robust platform for IIS members to network and connect.
Peter L. Miller, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Institutes, said: “Like The Institutes, IIS has a long history of and commitment to educating and empowering risk management and insurance professionals.
“By joining forces, we can create more opportunities for interaction, discussion and problem-solving, which in turn will help us tailor our solutions to meet the needs of a rapidly changing industry.”

The Institutes is already due to be featured prominently at the upcoming 2018 IIS Global Insurance Forum in Berlin, where regional and multinational re/insurers, brokers, service providers, regulators, associations, and scholars will meet to network and debate key industry issues.
