Jennifer D’Arcy joins Ed as EVP, Head of Facultative Reinsurance

Jennifer D’Arcy has joined global reinsurance brokerage Ed as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Head of Facultative Reinsurance, reporting to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ed’s reinsurance broking business, Kieran Angelini-Hurll.

Ed BrokingShe joins the global broker from Price Forbes, where she most recently served as Executive Director, Head of Cargo Reinsurance. D’Arcy brings more than 17 years of industry experience to the role, and prior to Price Forbes she held roles with R.K. Harrison, Marsh, Willis, and Gibbs Hartley Cooper.

Commenting on the appointment, Angelini-Hurll said: “Fac business is a core area for Ed, and Jennifer is the ideal individual to drive its growth among new and potential clients. She is a proven producer with an enormous network spanning the world, which will be of great value not only to Ed, but especially to clients seeking an alternative approach to the market.”

D’Arcy added: “I am excited to be joining a wholesale broker with a solid vision of how to serve clients better. Ed is refreshing.”
