Marsh, the global insurance broker and risk advisory business, has announced the appointment of Jessica Fields to lead Marsh Risk’s US Semiconductor and AI Compute Practice.
In this newly created role, Fields will be based in New York and will deliver tailored risk advisory and insurance solutions to clients across the semiconductor and AI compute sectors as they navigate the risks associated with the rapid expansion of global digital infrastructure.
She will bring together Marsh’s advisory, emerging risk, reinsurance, and capital specialists to help these organisations identify, quantify, and manage their exposures, strengthening resilience and creating opportunities for growth.
Fields brings more than 20 years of insurance brokerage and underwriting experience.
She joins Marsh from Aon, where she spent more than 11 years in a number of senior leadership roles across New York and San Francisco. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President, leading risk account executives in New York while supporting executive-level client engagements.
Before that, Fields was Northern California Market Leader at Aon, focused on developing tailored risk capital solutions for technology and semiconductor clients.
Earlier in her career, she held positions at Zurich North America and AXA XL.
Michelle Sartain, President, US and Canada, Marsh Risk, commented, “Semiconductors and enabling technologies are central to digital infrastructure. Jessica’s appointment strengthens our ability to deliver industry-specific risk expertise as the sector continues to innovate and expand to meet growing demand for AI compute capacity.”
Fields added, “I’m thrilled to join Marsh at such a critical time for the technology industry. I look forward to working with Marsh’s industry specialists around the world to help clients manage their increasingly complex physical, operational, digital, and financial risks, enabling them to seize the opportunities created by the monumental expansion of the global digital infrastructure ecosystem.”
