Specialist re/insurance broker and risk consultant JLT Specialty has appointed Hamish Roberts to lead its London-based power specialty business.
Roberts will coordinate with JLT’s power specialists internationally and will oversee the power business, which combines JLT’s specialist sector knowledge to offer a suite of services to both regulated power companies and independent power producers.
Joining JLT in 2014, Roberts most recently served the company as Business Development Director, before which he held positions at both AON and Marsh, where he was instrumental in building and leading their global power practices.
Roberts commented on his appointment: ‘JLT Specialty already has a strong presence in the power sector, and as part of a much larger global offering, I am confident that we can better meet our clients’ needs and provide innovative and more effective solutions in this fast-evolving sector.
