Global re/insurance brokerage Marsh has announced that John Drzik will step back from his full time responsibilities as President of the Global Risk and Digital (GR&D) division, effective January 1, 2020.

Drzik will, however, remain involved with the business as a senior advisor, working with John Doyle, President and CEO of Marsh, and the Marsh Executive Committee on strategic risk and digital issues.

In addition, he will continue to serve as Chairman of Marsh & McLennan Insights.

“John has been a driving force behind Marsh’s digital strategy, while also leading our consulting, data and analytics, small commercial and consumer businesses,” said Doyle.

He continued: “As a respected thought leader on strategy, risk management and insurance, I am glad he will be advising us on how we can continue to use our deep data and analytics capabilities to enable clients to meet the challenges of the fast-changing global risk landscape.”
