Kuwait Re has appointed Mark Szeles as Regional Manager central and eastern Europe (CEE) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
Within this role, Szeles will be based in Budapest, Hungary.
All in all, Szeles brings over 14 years of experience within the industry towards the role.
He joins Kuwait Re from re/insurance broker Aon where he served as Head of Facultative – CEE, for just over three years.
Prior to that he served as Regional Manager – Specialty Lines at Trust Re for four years.
In addition, Szeles also previously held the role of Senior Underwriter – CEE/SEE region at UNIQA.
