Landmark Underwriting has appointed Andrew Ravenscroft as Head of Property.
He joins Landmark Underwriting from Arlington Insurance Services LTD, where he served as a Broker for over two years.
Prior to Arlington, Ravenscroft served as a Class Underwriter for Brit Global Specialty, a FTSE 250 company listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Within that role, Ravenscroft helped write business within Real Estate (Commercial and Residential), Commercial Combined/Package, Mid/High Net Worth Household, and Niche schemes and facilities.
Before joining Brit Global Specialty, Ravenscroft spent five years serving in various Underwriting roles at Amlin UK. He began his tenure at the firm focusing on Underwriting for Property Owners, before being promoted to Class Underwriter, and then Leading Class Underwriter.
In addition, Ravenscroft also previously spent five years working at Zurich, where he held the role of Development Underwriter. Within this role, he was the Principle Underwriter for substantial National Broker connections, which involved extensive daily contact and ultimate responsibility for management of relationship with the broker.
