Global reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has appointed Lasse Flensborg Otzen to its Copenhagen operation as Divisional Director.
He is an experienced account executive with over ten years of experience across diverse disciplines in the reinsurance and insurance industry, including risk management, underwriting and claims handling, as well as client service.
Otzen joins from If Insurance – a Sweden-headquartered P&C insurer – where he held several roles since joining the company in 2017.
Prior to that, he spent over two years at Aon Benfield as Assistant Account Executive. He began his insurance career at Alm Brand in 20211.
According to Gallagher, Otzen’s appointment further strengthens its local client servicing, support and advocacy in the Danish and wider Nordic market.
