Thomas Miller, Manager of the UK P&I Club, has announced the appointment of Leanne O’Loughlin as regional director of Thomas Miller Americas.
Based in the New Jersey office, O’Loughlin will work closely with current Chief Executive Officer of Thomas Miller Americas, Mike Jarrett, before his retirement at the end of February 2020.
She joins from Standard P&I Club having held various roles for nearly a decade in both the UK and the US, recently having been president/regional director in its New York office.
“Leanne is very familiar with the challenges faced by Club Members in the area. The Americas are a very important region for the UK P&I Club, and this appointment will further strengthen our very experienced claims team,” said Jarrett.
“Leanne offers extensive legal expertise and experience within the marine claims environment and she is a valuable addition to the Thomas Miller Americas team.”
Commenting on her appointment, O’Loughlin, added, “The UK Club is globally renowned as an industry leader in the Americas claims environment, a market I’m very familiar with.
“I look forward to working with the team in New Jersey and San Francisco to make a positive impact to the Club and its members.”
