Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), a division of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has unveiled Lesley Harding as its new Global Head of Energy, effective immediately.
Based in the company’s London office, Harding reports to Michael Gosselin, Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), Specialty.
In her new role, she takes on responsibility for the firm’s global energy portfolio which includes onshore, offshore, power and renewable sectors, including global risk consultancy.
Harding will be tasked with leading the growth and performance of the business and assist clients in managing the transition to cleaner technologies.
She joins LSM from BP, where for seven years she served as Vice President, Head of Insurance Risk Management. Prior to BP, Harding worked as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Willis Captive Practice.
Previously, she served as President of the M200 organisation, and has also held numerous Board positions, including AIRMIC and brings more than three decades of insurance industry experience to the role.
