Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), a division of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has announced the appointments of Jonathan Powell and David Bramall as underwriters within its Casualty team, effective immediately.
Powell joins LSM as Senior Underwriter for the US book of business, and will report to Phil Stephenson, Senior Underwriter, Excess Casualty.
He brings more than 12 years of London insurance market experience to the role, and joins the firm from Aspen, where he served as a Senior Casualty Underwriter.
Bramall joins LSM as Underwriting Manager for the UK book of business, and will report to Dan Munro, Liability Underwriting Manager.
He brings more than 22 years of London and regional UK insurance market experience to the firm, having formerly served as the Lead Underwriter for UK Casualty at specialty re/insurer MS Amlin for just under three years. He previously led the Marsh National Corporate and RMP Casualty broking teams.
