Lloyd’s appoints Waystone as investment platform operator

Waystone, an institutional provider of services to the asset management industry, has been chosen as Platform Operator for the Lloyd’s investment platform.

lloyd'sThe new platform will consist of a series of select funds across asset classes, made available to Lloyd’s market investors who can freely invest in and allocate between them.

Key reasons cited by Lloyd’s in selecting Waystone were its ability to service the full spectrum of investment vehicles across key domiciles together and its technology infrastructure.

As Platform Operator, Waystone will establish and maintain the operation of investment vehicles and structures, oversee regulated funds in accordance with AIFMD, UCITS and local regulatory rules, and provide consolidated reporting services for platform vehicles.

The Lloyd’s investment platform structure consists of Schroders Solutions as the Investment Advisor and Waystone in its capacity as Platform Operator.
