Lockton adds Nicholas King as President of Washington Office

Independent insurance and reinsurance brokerage, Lockton Companies, has announced the hiring of Nicholas King as President of Lockton Washington, based in Seattle.

He joins the firm from Seattle based broker Parker, Smith & Feek where he led the company’s Real Estate Practice, with a focus on institutional fund and multi-generation Real Estate Owners & Developers.

King has a decade of experience delivering insurance solutions for the development of apartments, condo, mixed use, and commercial buildings, and also represents clients in the Healthcare, Non-Profit, Agricultural and Transportation industries.

Tate McCoy, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lockton Mountain West, commented: “I look forward to Nicholas’s leadership of our expanding Seattle office. His industry experience, coupled with his commitment to clients and passion for the local community makes him the ideal person to champion our continued growth and success throughout Washington.”

King is a member of the Pacific Real Estate Institute (PREI) and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and he also serves in a Director role for the King County Boys and Girls Clubs (KCBGC).
