Lockton Re appoints Oliver Brew as Cyber Practice Leader, London

Global insurance broker Lockton’s dedicated reinsurance division, Lockton Re, has appointed Oliver Brew in a new role as Cyber Practice Leader in London.

lockton-re-logoBrew brings more than 20 years of industry experience towards the role. He joins from CyberCube where he most recently served as Head of Client Success as part of the company’s leadership team.

He began his career with WTW, before joining CFC Underwriting, Ltd. as a technology underwriting manager.

After serving just over four years at CFC Underwriting, Brew joined Hiscox as an underwriter, before serving in a variety of leadership roles at Hiscox USA.

Additionally, Brew also previously held various roles at Liberty International Underwriters, which included serving as SVP & Head of E&O.

Highly qualified in both academic and business disciplines, Brew will bring deep expertise and insight to Lockton Re’s clients and together with his counterparts in Bermuda and North America will help cement Lockton Re’s position at the forefront of this important and fast-evolving specialty.

Meanwhile, in September it was announced that Lockton Re had launched Lockton Re Capital Markets (LRCM), a dedicated specialist arm for capital markets and ILS activities.
