Marcus Felgate has joined Willis Re, the reinsurance advisory and broking joint venture between Bain Capital (BCIS) and WTW.
Felgate has 18 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. He began his career at Lloyds Banking Group before joining Guy Carpenter in 2012 as an actuarial analyst.
After qualifying as an actuary, he became Head of Analytics for the Non-Marine Property Retro team before progressing to Managing Director. Most recently, he held a client advisory role.
“Marcus has deep expertise in property retrocession and direct and facultative placements. This includes leading benchmarking and client insight work to optimise client solutions and match them to reinsurers’ appetites,” Willis Re said.
