President and Chief Executive Officer of Marsh, John Doyle, has announced the addition of Global Risk & Digital and Global placement specialities units as well as new appointments to the firm’s executive management team as part of a restructuring effort.

With the addition of the new speciality units, Marsh’s global management structure includes an expanded range of innovative solutions for small commercial businesses, families and individuals.
John Drzik previously President of Global Risk & Specialties, has been appointed to President of the new unit, he will report to Doyle and will continue to serve on Marsh’s Executive Committee.
Marsh has also added the Global Placement & Specialties division, which includes the areas of Retail and Specialty, Wholesale, and Portfolio Solutions.
The firm’s Global Specialties operations include Aviation, Construction, Credit, Energy, Marine, Private Equity and M&A (PEMA) and Infrastructure.
Marsh’s new management structure includes the addition of Marsh International, which services Africa, Asia, Continental Europe, Latin America & the Caribbean, Middle East and North Africa, Pacific, and UK & Ireland.
Flavio Piccolomini will act as President of Marsh International, reporting to Doyle; he will relocate to London for the role, and will serve on Marsh’s Executive Committee as well as continuing to lead Continental Europe on an interim basis.
Doyle made additional appointments to Marsh’s Executive Committee, including Martin South, President, US & Canada; and David Eslick, Chairman and CEO of Marsh & McLennan Agency.
