Global re/insurance brokerage Marsh has announced the appointments of Michael Rouse as head of US Property and Michelle Sartain as head of Financial and Professional Liability (FINPRO) for the US and Canada.
Effective immediately, Rouse will now assume leadership of Marsh’s US Property Practice from Duncan Ellis, who has left the firm.
Rouse has more than 20 years’ experience in property re/insurance, and most recently served as US Property Placement Leader at Marsh.
In his new role, he will be based in New York, reporting to Martin South, President for US and Canada at Marsh.
Sartain, meanwhile, will take over her new leadership position from Devin Beresheim with immediate effect.
She has more than 20 years’ experience serving in roles of increasing responsibility at Marsh in FINPRO and in the US sales team, including most recently as US Sales Leader.
Also based in New York, Sartain will report to Pat Donnelly, Marsh JLT Specialty Leader for US and Canada.
Both Rouse and Sartain will also join Marsh’s US executive committee.
“Marsh’s Property and FINPRO teams are widely respected in the industry for their experience and risk expertise,” said Martin South.
“Under the leadership of Mike and Michelle, we will continue to provide clients with unrivaled data, analytics, and risk transfer solutions that allow them to anticipate, model, and manage the threats facing their businesses,” he continued.
