Marsh & McLennan Agency, the middle market agency of global re/insurance broker Marsh, has announced the appointment of Peter Krause as Southeast Regional Chief Executive Officer.
Effective immediately, Krause will report to David Eslick, chairman and CEO of MMA, and oversee MMA’s offices in Georgia , Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky and Tallahassee.
He brings over 30 years’ insurance underwriting, marketing, and management experience to the role and most recently served as President of MMA’s Southeast region.
Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President, Managing Director, and Marketing Manager of J. Smith Lanier & Co.
Krause will continue to be based in Atlanta and succeeds Gary Ivey who will continue as an advisor to MMA Southeast throughout the remainder of 2020.
