Insurance broker Marsh Risk, a business of Marsh, has announced the launch of Risk Companion, a new suite of AI-driven analytics tools designed to help clients more effectively and efficiently manage their unique risks.
The platform leverages a proprietary AI engine that integrates Marsh’s global risk datasets with advanced actuarial modeling and deep subject-matter expertise.
This launch represents a significant advance in Marsh’s use of AI to give clients a more detailed view into their risk exposures and mitigation options, allowing the firm to deliver insights at a faster pace and in greater detail than previously available.
Michelle Sartain, President US and Canada, Marsh Risk, said: “As risks have become more complex, interconnected, and volatile, clients around the world need quicker access to the data, analytics, and insights that enable them to cut through the noise and act with greater confidence at key moments.
“Risk Companion’s suite of connected solutions enables clients to turn insights into action across the risk lifecycle, from identification to measurement to treatment.”
Moreover, Marsh Risk will be unveiling two new Risk Companion solutions at RIMS RISKWORLD 2026, which is taking place from May 3-6.
The first, Renewal Companion, enables real time modelling of retentions, limits, deductibles, and coverage. This allows clients to compare different outcomes and generate board-ready recommendations.
The second solution, Captive Companion, gives clients access to their captive’s financial metrics and benchmarking analytics. By automating reporting and document workflows, this tool helps clients act faster, reduce manual effort, and confidently optimise capital.
“Today’s launch further enables clients to benefit from our vast dataset, models, and insights to benefit clients, with plans to expand the range of solutions in phases,” said Jonathan Lee, Global Leader, Digital Client Experience, Marsh.
Adding: “This will begin with improved clarity and more immediate visibility into risk, followed by enhanced optimization and decision support, all designed to work together seamlessly. The underlying AI analytics engine is built to be scalable, allowing us to create and adapt solutions as clients’ needs evolve.”
