Re/insurance broker Marsh has appointed Michelle Sartain as head of Marsh Specialty for the US and Canada.
In this role, Sartain will oversee Marsh’s aviation, construction, energy and power, credit specialties, financial and professional (FINPRO), marine, private equity and M&A (PEMA), and transactional risk specialty businesses in the region.
Currently head of Marsh’s US FINPRO Practice and based in New York, Sartain will succeed Pat Donnelly who, Marsh announced last month, will become President of Marsh US and Canada at the start of next year.
In her new role, Sartain will work closely with Donnelly and report to Lucy Clarke, President, Marsh Specialty and Marsh Global Placement.
