The specialty insurance division of Bermudian reinsurer Everest Re Group, Ltd., Everest Insurance, has announced the appointment of Mike Karmilowicz as Executive Vice President (EVP) of Everest Insurance and President of Everest Insurance North America P&C.
In his new role, Karmilowicz will take responsibility for all of the insurer’s P&C underwriting units and direct brokerage business for Everest Insurance North American platform.
He joined the company in July 2015, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Everest Insurance and President of Everest Specialty Underwriters, which comprises the Executive Solutions Group, Professional Liability, Alternative Solutions, Political Risk & Trade Credit, and Surety segments.
