Specialist insurance and reinsurance brokerage, Miller, has announced the appointment of Michael Lazarus to its Facultative Reinsurance team.
Lazarus started his career in the re/insurance industry in 1993 and joins Miller from rival re/insurance broker Aon in London. During his career, he has worked in London, Australia, the U.S., Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Africa.
In his new role, Lazarus will support Miller’s clients globally and will also support the broker’s placement teams with his deep knowledge and understanding of global markets.
He has a specialist focus in the energy and heavy industry sectors, including mining and power, and has extensive experience in numerous territories including Asia, the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Israel, South Africa, and Continental Europe.
