Specialist re/insurance broker Miller has bolstered its Onshore energy practice team with four appointments, naming Adam Barber-Murray to lead the team as Head of Onshore.
In this new role, Barber-Murray will focus on midstream and downstream oil and gas, petrochemicals, power and renewables risks.
He joins from Willis Towers Watson, where he spent over ten years, most recently as the Head of Downstream Natural Resources Broking. Before that, he was an onshore energy broker at Aon.
Miller has also made three additional senior downstream hires, with Daniel Fraser joining as the Deputy Head of Onshore.
Fraser has over 30 years of experience in the strategy, design and placement of downstream oil and gas programmes across the London and International markets, including senior roles at Willis Towers Watson, Aon, Gallagher and London broker Alesco.
Meanwhile, Conor Boughey joins as a broker/account executive; most recently also at Willis Towers Watson, he was a senior associate in the Natural Resources team. He has over ten years of industry experience, including tenures as a property and casualty underwriter at AXA and a technical claims consultant at LV.
Finally, Grace Harbottle again joins from Willis Towers Watson as an account executive responsible for supporting Miller’s client delivery, drawing on experience across a range of sectors, including power, mining, metals and downstream oil and gas.
