MS Amlin promotes Stuart Wood to Head of Casualty for Specialty unit

Global insurer and reinsurer MS Amlin has announced the promotion of Stuart Wood to Head of Casualty, reporting to Mark Clements and Andrew Wright, co-Chief Underwriting Officers (CUOs) of MS Amlin Underwriting Ltd.

ms-amlin-logoWood brings more than two decades of experience to the role and has been with MS Amlin for the past ten years.

He most recently served as Class Underwriter – International Professional Indemnity, a role in which he was responsible for International Professional Indemnity within the combined Syndicate 3210/2001 operation.

Prior to MS Amlin, Wood held similar roles at Hiscox Insurance Company Limited, Limit Syndicate 2000, and Glemham Underwriting Limited.

His promotion marks the final senior leader appointment within MS Amlin’s Specialty operation, which includes Crisis Management, Property, Marine, Natural Resources, and Casualty.
