Global reinsurer Munich Re has announced the appointment of Thomas Wilde as Client Executive for Israel and the Maghreb region, effective 1st July 2026.
Wilde brings 35 years of international industry experience, combining deep underwriting expertise with a strong, people-focused leadership approach.
Since joining Munich Re in 1988, he has made significant contributions across Latin America, Australasia, and Europe.
Most recently, Wilde served as a Senior Executive Consultant at Munich Re.
Prior to that, he held a number of senior leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer of Munich Re Italy, Underwriting Manager P&C Continental Europe, and Underwriting Manager P&C Australasia.
