Munich Re, one of Europe’s big four reinsurance companies, has appointed Andreas Moser as Global Head of Credit, Surety and Political Risk Reinsurance, effective April 1st, 2026.
Having joined Munich Re in 2004 and the firm’s Financial Risks division in 2021, Moser has contributed to the development of new digital business models. Within the Financial Risks division, he was Head of Trade Credit and Surety Reinsurance for Spain, Portugal, and Latin America.
Before this, he has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Munich Re Italy and as Head of Non-Life Reinsurance for the Latin America region.
Moser is also the Co-founder of Mundi Lab, an insurance tech acceleration program in partnership between Munich Re and Mundi Ventures, designed to facilitate the go-to-market of start-ups with innovative solutions for the industry.
“In his new role, Andreas will lead a strong global team, building on the franchise’s proven track record and continuing to deliver value to clients and partners worldwide,” said the firm.
