John Coleman has been appointed to the role of Managing Director of Origination – Agriculture – North America at Munich Re Trading LLC, the Weather and Commodity Group of reinsurance giant Munich Re.
Coleman is an experienced specialist in parametric and index-based insurance solutions for weather, commodity and agriculture related sector.
At the same time, he has been the Director of Structuring & Origination at eWeatherRisk, Inc. for a period of almost eight years.
He joins the firm after working for more than three years at Arbol, a global climate risk coverage platform and FinTech company.
During his tenure at Arbol, Coleman served as Head of Agriculture for just over one year, and Head of Structuring for just under two years.
