The National Reinsurance Corporation of the Philippines (Nat Re) has named Allan Santos as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 16th, 2018.
Santos replaces Augusto Hidalgo III, who has held the position of President and CEO since 2014. During his term, he helped transform the company into a more customer-focused operation.
Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, Santos was the firm’s Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO), where he oversaw finance, investments, data and analytics, and also technology and human resources.
Commenting on his new role, Santos said the firm will continue to build on its achievements and take the company forward, with a view to offering clients, partners and shareholders an improved service.
Nat Re also announced recently the appointments of Christian Ladoux as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) and Tisha Darvin as Head of Data and Analytics.
