Athene Life Re Ltd (ALRe), the reinsurance subsidiary of Athene Holding Ltd., has announced the appointment of Natasha Scotland Courcy as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
In addition to Scotland Courcy’s promotion, Brad Molitor has been named President and remains the Group’s Chief Actuary. Molitor previously served as Athene Bermuda Chief Financial Officer. Fergus Daly will continue as Chief Financial Officer, Athene Life Re.
As CEO, Scotland Courcy will continue to oversee ALRe’s Bermuda office and drive the design and implementation of business operations and policies that promote the company’s culture.
She brings over a decade of experience as a corporate attorney to her new role. Her experience includes 10 years with ALRe, where she most recently served as general counsel and chief operating officer.
She also serves as Chair of Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers (BILTIR), the association representing the long-term insurers and reinsurers in Bermuda.
