African specialist underwriting agency Neema Insurance Managing Agency (Neema) has launched a Political Violence & Terrorism reinsurance product aimed to help protect the African markets.
Headquartered in Mauritius, Neema is regulated by the Financial Services Commission and has facilities from reputable reinsurers that enable it to underwrite on their behalf across several classes of business.
Sharon Ng, Principal Officer of Neema, said: “The development of this Political Violence & Terrorism reinsurance product is in line with Neema’s objective of offering customised reinsurance solutions to businesses in Africa. The launch is a direct result of the significant demand we have received for Political Violence & Terrorism reinsurance.”
