Neon Underwriting has announced the addition of Brian James as Class Underwriter for Cargo and Richard Mander as Class Underwriter for Marine Liability, as the firm continues to expand its marine division.
James brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the role, and joins Neon from Talbot Underwriting, where he was Class Underwriter, responsible for heading both its Cargo/War on Land and Agency business lines.
Prior to Talbot, James spent more than ten years with Wellington Underwriting, and he started his career at Black Sea and Baltic General Insurance.
Mander joins Neon from Brit Insurance, where he served as Class Underwriter for Marine and Energy liability. Prior to this he worked at Navigators Underwriting Agency.
