New Dawn Risk Group Limited, an independent specialist intermediary for non-marine liability and specialty insurance and reinsurance, has announced the appointment of Dermot Dick as Head of Treaty Production.
Prior to joining New Dawn, Dick was Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) at Emirates International.
He has also previously served as Senior Vice President at XL Re in London, underwriting a book of Middle Eastern reinsurance business, and as Chief Executive of QRe in Qatar.
“Over the last decade we have built a robust treaty business and a strong offering in the Middle East, Africa and Asia,” said Max Carter, Chief Executive Officer of New Dawn Risk.
“Dermot’s depth of experience in those regions, the strength of his relationships and in-depth knowledge means we are able to offer cedants an even more valuable proposition,” he added.
