The Nexus Group has appointed Karen Morris as an independent Non-Executive Director of underwriting operations, effective immediately.
Morris is a barrister and international tax and corporate lawyer with a proven track-record in re/insurance growth and innovation strategy. She has recently held long-term strategic consultancy roles for WR Berkley Inc and the Hyperion Group.
Morris brings with her years of experience in Independent Non-Executive positions. She was also Chief Innovation Officer at AIG and has held the roles of International Underwriting Counsel and Head of Product and Service Development and SVP for Southern Europe at the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.
