Travelers Europe has appointed insurance industry veteran Nick Rnjak to lead its Lloyd’s platform, Travelers Syndicate Management.
Rnjak was promoted from a role as Chief Underwriting Officer for Travelers Syndicate.
In his new role, he will continue to focus on expanding industry sector expertise and building relationships with brokers at Lloyd’s, reporting to Travelers Europe Chief Executive Officer Matthew Wilson.
Wilson said; “Nick is a proven leader and respected underwriter who has been instrumental in our Syndicate’s strong performance over the past several years.
“His extensive industry knowledge will help us to continue delivering specialised products in key segments and position us for even greater success.”
Rnjak brings over 40 years of London market industry experience including a number of underwriting leadership roles at Ace, Gerling, Cox Syndicate and HSB before joining Travelers in 2007.
Rnjak commented; “it’s an exciting time in our industry, and we have an incredibly talented and experienced team in our Lloyd’s group. I look forward to working with the team in this new capacity as we strengthen our broker relationships and provide comprehensive solutions that meet the sophisticated needs of their clients.”
Travelers has operated in Europe for decades in both the general insurance market and through Lloyd’s, offering business insurance, bond and specialty insurance and risk management services.
The Lloyd’s Syndicate underwrites specialist and complex business classes, including marine, global property, power and utilities, accident and special risks, aviation and energy.
