PartnerRe, a Bermuda-based global reinsurer, has announced the appointments of Erik Rüttener as Interim Head of Retro and International, Olivia Bishop as Global Cat, CUO and Head of North America, and Carlo Casty as Head of Cat Modeling.
Rüttener brings a wealth of industry experience to his new position, having joined Partner Re close to two decades ago. He started his tenure at the company as Head of Catastrophe Research, and in 2011 he was appointed CUO, Deputy Head of Catastrophe Reinsurance.
Bishop has been part of the company for 16 years, joining from Sirius International as an AVP – Underwriter. Throughout her time at the company she has also held the roles of VP – Senior Underwriter and Head of Specialty Catastrophe.
An experienced veteran in the industry, Casty has spent 18 years working at Partner Re, joining the company as an Exposure Specialist in 2008. Since then he has held a number of roles, most recently as Head of Catastrophe Risk Modeling EMEA and APAC.
