Paul-Henri Rastoul has been appointed Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) of XL Insurance Company SE (XLICSE), a wholly owned subsidiary within the AXA XL segment of AXA Group.
Effective immediately, Rastoul joins the AXA XL International Property & Casualty (P&C) leadership team, and will be based in Dublin.
In his new role, he will be responsible for developing core underwriting strategies and optimising product offering and profitability for XLICSE.
He has 27 years of industry experience and joined AXA in 1992 as a Corporate Finance Lawyer with AXA Group. He has since held a number of senior positions, including President Director of PT Asuransi AXA Indonesia, Chief Technical Officer and Executive Committee Member at AXA Spain, Group Head of Commercial Lines and Reinsurance Regional Director, AXA Global P&C, Chief Underwriter and Chief Claims Officer at AXA France, and Senior Vice President & Chief Underwriter at AXA Asia Regional.
Most recently, Rastoul was President Director at Mandiri AXA General Insurance and Commissioner at AXA Mandiri Financial Services.
