Peak Re, a global reinsurance company providing risk solutions and services to insurance and financial services clients, has appointed Sanjiv Agarwal as Head of Operations as the company continues to implement its growth and transformation strategy, which took effect on 1 September 2026.
Agarwal joins Peak Re with nearly 30 years of experience across operations, transformation, technology and people leadership within the financial services sector. Most recently, he led the Human Resources function for Swiss Re across Southeast Asia and India.
Agarwal began his career in operations and has since gained experience in establishing and managing operations centres, improving efficiency and supporting large-scale organisational transformation.
Based in Hong Kong, Agarwal will be responsible for Peak Re’s operations functions, including Technical Accounting, Claims and Technology. He will work with teams across the business to support operational effectiveness, develop capabilities and contribute to the delivery of the company’s strategic objectives.
The appointment of Agarwal follows Peak Re’s recent appointment of Nattakorn Wattanaumphaipong as Global Head of Distribution and Partnerships.
