Pen Underwriting, a multi-territory managing general agent (MGA), has announced the promotion of Nick Milton to the position of Head of UK Sales & Distribution.
In this role, he will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the 16-strong national sales team and the strategic expansion of Pen’s broker relationships in the UK.
Most recently, Milton served as Regional Director for the Midlands & South West within the business’s commercial division, having joined Pen in 2015.
He has more than 15 years of sales and management experience, having previously held senior roles at Fusion Insurance Services and RSA Group.
“Nick is a strong people leader with a history of delivering sustained revenue growth and optimising client relationships, all of which make him the ideal candidate to lead our growing sales operations,” said Nick Wright, Managing Director, Commercial Lines.
“This is a pivotal role that will drive forward our ambitious growth agenda and being able to appoint from within the existing Pen team is testament to the wealth of talent we have within our business,” he continued.
Milton also commented: “I am incredibly excited to get started and build upon the good work already achieved by the Pen sales team.
