Peter Tam resigns as CEO of the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers

It’s been revealed that Peter Tam has resigned from his post as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers (HKFI).

Hong Kong Federation of InsurersThe HKFI notes that Tam has now resigned and will take a leave of absence from the 27th of July, 2019 to the 8th of October, 2019.

The organisations Governing Committee has setup an Executive Committee to identify Tam’s replacement and oversee operations in the interim. The HKFI states that business is as usual and that its management and staff continue to provide high-quality service.

Chairman of the HKFI, Praveen Daswani, commented: “Peter has decided to pursue other opportunities and will be leaving the HKFI with a very good foundation for continued growth and development.

“We are grateful for his valuable contribution and able leadership over the last 15 years. Our best wishes go to Peter in his future endeavours.”
