The National Reinsurance Corporation of the Philippines (NRCP), has approved the appointment of Santino Santillano – former KPMG audit manager – to Head of Finance, at the Board of Directors meeting.
Santillano is set to replace Claudia Karen Fidelino who was appointed to Officer-in-Charge of the Finance Department last month – where she’ll reassume her duties as Head of Management and Technical Accounting.
In January 2016, Santillano joined the NRCP as head of internal audit, having previously acted as audit manager at KPMG in the Philippines for more than two years.
Santillano also has experience as AVP finance with Argus Group Holdings, and as audit senior with KPMG in Bermuda.
He earned his Bachelor’s accountancy degree at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
The NRCP was incorporated in 1978 as a domestic reinsurer, providing life and non-life reinsurance to the Philippines and neighbouring insurance markets.
