PwC Bermuda has announced the promotion of three new Partners, including Damian Sealy, who is also Head of Actuarial Services, where he advises insurers, reinsurers and captives on actuarial, risk and financial matters across audit and advisory engagements.

PwC logoSealy joined PwC Bermuda in 2019 from PwC UK and leads PwC’s Actuarial Services practice in Bermuda and across PwC member firms operating in the Caribbean.

He has played a key role in expanding the firm’s actuarial practice and developing actuarial talent across the region.

Prior to PwC, Sealy was a Pensions and Insurance Consultant at WTW and also served as a Senior Actuarial Analyst at HSBC.

PwC has also promoted David Cartmill to Partner. He brings more than 20 years of experience across Bermuda, the UK and Australia.

Cartmill leads PwC’s Private Clients practice, specialising in audit, accounting, payroll and support services to local and international clients across a broad range of industries.

Working closely with clients, he provides strategic insights to help navigate complex accounting and reporting challenges. Together with his team, he delivers practical, tailored solutions designed to support the long-term success of private clients.

In addition, Crystal Pittendrigh has been named Partner, bringing more than 18 years of experience in the financial services sector, specialising in the re/insurance industry.

Pittendrigh advises on US tax matters, including compliance and related informational reporting, as well as the implementation of Bermuda Corporate Income Tax. Her primary focus is Bermuda captives, insurance-linked securities structures and US consolidated groups.

PwC said these promotions mark a significant milestone, reflecting its continued investment in the growth of its practice, the strength of its talent, and its commitment to broadening diversity within senior leadership.

Arthur Wightman, PwC Bermuda leader, commented, “We congratulate this exceptional group of new leaders.
