Risk analytics provider QOMPLX has closed an acquisition of cybersecurity intelligence firm Hyperion Gray.
Hyperion Gray’s team of software engineers, data scientists, and offensive security experts have now joined the QOMPLX team as members of its cybersecurity and analytics teams.

QOMPLX’s Q:CYBER suite combines external attack surface intelligence with internal telemetry from Active Directory, log sources, and other security tool feeds into a dedicated data fusion layer.
The integration of HyperionGray is expected to further QOMPLX’s strategy of using technology to better specify risk transfer, model future possibilities, and enable data analytics across the insurance value chain.

This acquisition follows QOMPLX’s decision to go public via a merger with special purpose acquisition company, Tailwind Acquisition Corp.
Alongside this merger, QOMPLX is acquiring insurance modelling and actuarial platform Tyche and cyber-intelligence company Sentar Inc.
