RAA’s Joe Sieverling added to Federal Reserve advisory committee

The Reinsurance Association of America’s senior vice president and director of financial services Joe Sieverling has been appointed to the Federal Reserve’s Insurance Policy Advisory Committee (IPAC).

Reinsurance Association of AmericaThe IPAC consists of 21 members and was launched in 2018 to provide information, advice and recommendations to the Board of Governors on international insurance capital standards and other insurance issues.

Based in Washington DC, Sieverling has served with the RAA for almost 20 years.

“Joe Sieverling’s extensive background in finance, financial analysis and tax, along with a deep appreciation of the complex issues associated with insurance capital standards, will bring a unique perspective to the Advisory Committee. We are extremely proud of Joe’s appointment to IPAC,” said Frank Nutter, president of the RAA.

Commenting on his appointment, Sieverling said “I’m pleased to have been appointed to the Advisory Committee and look forward to working with the other members of the Committee at our November 4th meeting to establish priorities for the next year on this important initiative.”
