Reliance Global Group, Inc., a US insurtech company focused on acquiring and supporting independent insurance agencies through a technology-based platform, has announced several senior appointments as it pursues plans involving artificial intelligence across its insurance operations and product development activities.
The company has appointed Judah Korman as Chief Operating Officer, Zack Wilder as Chief Technology Officer and Mordy Beyman as Executive Vice President. Reliance Global Group also announced that two additional engineers have joined its newly established AI product development team under Wilder’s leadership.
Senior Vice President of Insurtech Moshe Fishman, whose appointment was previously disclosed, completes the group overseeing the company’s AI-related initiatives.
According to Reliance Global Group, the expanded leadership team will support two areas of focus: the development of insurance products built around artificial intelligence and the continued growth of its insurance agency acquisition strategy through the use of AI-powered technology. The company said these plans build upon its existing network of acquired agencies and its proprietary technology platform.
Commenting on the appointments, Ezra Beyman, Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Global Group, said: “Reliance was founded on the belief that insurance, one of the largest and most entrenched industries in the world, was overdue for a fundamental rethinking. We started by embedding technology into the agency model, and the results validated that thesis. Now we are going further: running our acquisition roll-up through an AI backbone and investing in insurance products that we believe AI has made possible for the first time. Judah, Zack, Mordy, Moshe, and the engineering team they are building are the right people to lead that chapter.”
Reliance Global Group stated that artificial intelligence is expected to play a central role in both elements of its strategy. The first centres on the acquisition and integration of independent insurance agencies into a unified operating platform. The company said the platform is intended to automate administrative processes, support underwriting activities and improve operational efficiency across acquired businesses.
The second area involves the creation of insurance products designed specifically with artificial intelligence capabilities in mind. Reliance Global Group said these products are expected to incorporate AI within areas such as risk assessment, pricing, customer engagement and policy administration.
The company stated that it views the two initiatives as complementary. According to Reliance Global Group, agencies acquired through its consolidation strategy provide access to customer portfolios, carrier relationships and operational data, while its technology platform and future products are intended to enhance the performance and competitiveness of those agencies.
Reliance Global Group also stated that it believes the use of artificial intelligence could help address some of the operational challenges traditionally associated with insurance agency consolidation. The company said its approach is designed to simplify integration processes, streamline back-office functions and provide greater operational insight across its network.
As Chief Operating Officer, Korman will be responsible for overseeing the expansion of Reliance Global Group’s operating model across its agency network and technology platforms. The company noted that Korman has experience in founding and scaling technology businesses, as well as a background in private equity and platform operations.
Wilder joins the company as Chief Technology Officer after holding engineering leadership roles at Coinbase and Capital One. Reliance Global Group said Wilder will oversee the development of technology infrastructure supporting both its agency acquisition platform and planned AI-focused insurance products. The company added that his previous experience includes work on financial technology and security systems within regulated sectors.
Wilder will also lead Reliance Global Group’s newly formed AI product development team. According to the company, the group’s initial work will focus on building the underlying AI infrastructure required for both its agency platform and future insurance products.
Beyman has been appointed Executive Vice President, formalising a leadership role that Reliance Global Group said he has effectively held for some time. The company stated that Beyman has been involved in shaping its long-term strategy, including technology-related investments and the development of its artificial intelligence roadmap. In his new position, he will oversee coordination across strategic initiatives, technology development and leadership execution.
Reliance Global Group said the appointments are intended to strengthen its ability to execute across technology development, operational integration, product innovation and AI-enabled business processes.
Discussing the company’s strategy, Korman said: “Insurance distribution has been resistant to the kind of operational transformation that technology has brought to other areas of financial services. What Reliance has built is a genuine foundation for the agency network, the carrier relationships, and now the AI platform to centralise and amplify it all. An AI-powered roll-up is designed to be a meaningfully different proposition from a traditional consolidation play. The economics are designed to compound differently, the integration timelines are designed to compress, and the data advantage widens with every acquisition.”
Wilder added: “I spent years at Capital One building infrastructure for an industry most people thought was too complex and too regulated to change quickly. Insurance is in a similar position today, and AI is now mature enough to do more than automate workflows. It can reimagine what an insurance product looks like, how it is priced, and how it reaches a customer. That is what we are building at Reliance, starting with a solid foundation and a head start on the rest of the industry.”
Beyman said: “I have been part of building this vision for some time, and what excites me most is that the timing is right. The AI tools available today are genuinely capable of transforming how insurance is distributed and how products are built. Reliance has the carrier relationships, the agency network that is licensed across the United States, and now the team to execute on that. My focus is making sure this initiative scales with the ambition behind it.”
