RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. has announced the addition of Duncan P. Hennes and Dr. Valerie Rahmani to its Board of Directors, as independent directors, effective August 2nd, 2017.
Hennes is the Co-Founder and Partner of Atrevida Partners, LLC, and Dr. Rahmani recently served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Damballa, Inc., a cyber-security firm.
Commenting on the appointments, James L. Gibbons, non-Executive Chair of RenaissanceRe, said; “Our Board continually reviews its composition in light of the Company’s strategy and evolving operations, and seeks to identify potential candidates who may strengthen our Board’s breadth of talent and background. With Duncan and Val we are delighted to have identified two such outstanding individuals. We welcome them to our Board.”
The announcement comes after the firm previously revealed that William F. Hagerty and Ralph B. Levy retired as members of the Board, effective July 20th and August 2nd, 2017, respectively.
