Specialist insurance and reinsurance brokerage BMS Group has named Rich Macrane as Executive Vice President (EVP), Casualty Facultative Leader, effective June 22nd, 2020.
In his new role, Macrane will be based in the company’s Philadelphia office and will report to Pete Chandler, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BMS’ U.S. reinsurance division.
Macrane will have a focus on expanding the firm’s Casualty Facultative operation within the U.S. team and as part of the independent re/insurance broker’s expansion in the reinsurance arena.
He brings over 25 years of facultative experience in the U.S. reinsurance market to BMS Group. Most recently, he served as a Managing Director of the North American team at brokerage Willis Towers Watson (WTW), having joined the firm in 2002. Prior to this, Macrane served as Managing Director at Kemper Insurance Company for two years.
