Robin Sidders named Head of Investor Relations at IGI

International commercial insurer and reinsurer, International General Insurance Holdings Limited (IGI), has hired Robin Sidders as Head of Investor Relations, effective January 13th, 2020.

IGIIn her new role, Sidders will be based in London and will work closely with IGI’s executive team and senior management, as well as the company’s Board of Directors, in order to design and lead IGI’s investor relations strategy.

She will have a particular focus on financial communications, corporate access and visibility, and relationships with the investment community, while at the same time playing an important role in the company’s transition to a public company framework.

In October of last year, IGI announced that it had entered into a business combination agreement with special purpose acquisition firm Tiberius Acquisition Corp., which will result in the public listing of IGI. The firm anticipates that the listing will occur in the first-quarter of 2020, subject to regulatory approvals.

Sidders brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the role, having served for more than 14 years as Director of Investor Relations at PartnerRe. She saw the Bermudian reinsurer through significant business, regulatory, and leadership change, which ended in the sale and delisting of PartnerRe.

IGI’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Wasef Jabsheh, commented: “We are delighted to bring Robin on board to join the IGI team.
