International specialty re/insurance MGA, Rokstone, has announced that it has centralised its Power, Construction and Engineering teams into one central powerhouse for brokers.
This move by Rokstone now makes it one of the most experienced teams within the London market in these lines.
The MGA has also announced that Peter Rossell, Dan Watson and Anthony Palmer, all senior engineering underwriters at Globe Underwriting have joined the company.
All three bring deep market leading engineering underwriting experience towards the Group.
Rossell was previously Head of Engineering at Globe Underwriting. He brings 43 years of industry experience towards the role, having previously served as a senior engineering underwriter with leading firms including Pioneer, Beazley and Amtrust.
In addition, Watson previously served as a Senior Engineering Underwriter at Globe. He joins Rokstone with over 15 years of industry experience, and has previously held senior positions as an engineering underwriter at Pioneer and RSA.
At the same time, Palmer was also an engineering underwriter at Globe. He brings over 10 years of industry experience towards the role, and has previously worked at both Pioneer and Canopius.
Moreover, the trio join Ian Green, a market stalwart for Primary Power Generation, and David Turner, a leading Construction underwriter with over 40 years of experience. Together they have a combined 150 years of underwriting experience.
At the same time, Rokstone’s new combined powerhouse offers brokers a highly compelling facility with a consolidated maximum PML line of $27.5 million. Operational Power Generation has a typical maximum line of USD5m, deployed on non-proportional structures.
