Ryan Specialty Group has announced the new formalised leadership structure for its subsidiary Ryan Re Underwriting Managers.
Ryan Re was founded in 2019 to specialise in North American Property and Casualty treaty reinsurance and underwrites on behalf of Nationwide.
Effective immediately, the executive leadership team for Ryan Re will include Brian Boornazian as Executive Chairman and Emil Issavi as Chief Executive Officer and President.
In these leadership roles, both Boornazian and Issavi will continue to be actively engaged in all aspects of Ryan Re’s management, underwriting and business development.
In addition to the above executive positions, Ryan Re has appointed Steve Capodanno as Chief Operating Officer. Capodanno will continue to retain his responsibilities as Head of Claims in addition to his new role.
