Ryan Specialty Group has announced the appointment of Mark Katz as executive vice president, general counsel.
Katz joined RSG in February 2019 as senior vice president and counsel, insurance services and has been responsible for leading a team focused on supporting the insurance operations of Ryan Specialty Group and its subsidiaries.
He will now take responsibility for leading RSG’s legal, compliance and regulatory functions.
“Mark brings deep knowledge and expertise to the role of General Counsel,” said Patrick Ryan, founder, chairman and Chief Executive Officer of RSG.
“Additionally, Mark has demonstrated this past year his strong leadership skills and extensive insurance acumen. I am very pleased to have Mark join our senior management team as General Counsel.”
